I’ve completed the next book on my books to read in 2022 list, and this one is called “The Guncle” by Steven Rowley. I’m glad this one happened to fall over the summer because it’s precisely that kind of read, and I enjoyed it all the way through. This lighthearted, story had just the right balance of plotline and comedy to keep me going back to it and chuckling out loud to myself now and again.

I’ve been working on my books to read in 2022 list for this year. I absolutely love reading, so this seemed like a pleasant thing to do. I decided that this year I would look to categories outside my usual favorite genres, to open my eyes to new things. It feels like a good year to focus on new beginnings.
